Well, I'm pleased to share my "empty" scene for poser. This is the scene/setting I used for the render above and other recent renderings (the Crysis-style render as well). The scene contains different props and a light set. The environment sphere is by Bagginsbill.
Important : the zip file don't include Alice character and her hair!
You should download and install the zip file that includes:
Now you are ready to open the pz3 file from your poser. The pz3 file was created in poser 2012/poser 9 but may work fine with older poser version. IMPORTANT : Poser 9 and 2012 allow to hide an item to the camera (so that it's not rendered) and this file use this feature! Other poser version will render everything in the scene with not so pleasant result if you want a scene with only your character visible!. The pz3 with the backdrop may help the older version of poser since the backdrop "fills" the whole scene.
Inside the scene you may add anything you want and render with the same result of the image shown here.
Any different result may depend by the render setting and the poser version.
There are 2 different pz3 file : One has a visible backdrop (as above). So you can use it for studio renders etc. The other pz3 file (scene_nobackdrop) has no backdrop and all item are set to not be visible in camera (only poser 9/2012) so you may add any background in postwork or any scenery prop.
Well, for any question please leave a message here!
About the scene :
-Environment sphere : the "global" illumination. Change the texture inside the sphere and you will get different colors bounce on you model.
-ClothPlane (1 and 2) : Useful to stop the global illumination from the sides. Each plane have is also a light emitter, so you may use them to add more light from left or right. You may change colors to obtain nice effect.
-Backlightstopper : A name that speak alone. It's a nice prop because there is a side with a slight bend. Very useful.
-Blue fill light : because I love the blue light! It's a simple light that gently color the scene of blue.
-KeySpot :The main light. It's also "cast" ambient occlusion over the scene.
-OnlySpec : A specular emitter. Lower value flat scene. High value and the scene will bright !
Thankyou very much for sharing it!
