You can render things like this in Poser 2012? Ohh, I must get it.

Can you reccomend an earlier model of poser within the 50-100 dollar range? A little over is OK.

Yes, the rendering (the shading, posing and rendering) is done in Poser Pro 2012 (the model was created in Maya though and textures were done in Photoshop and some Zbrush).
Well, they introduced SSS (subsurface scatter) in Poser 9/ Poser Pro 2012 (Poser Pro 2012 basically being Poser 9 "pro" version) and that's used extensively on both the skin and the armor shader so any earlier version would not produce the same effect.

However you may want to subscribe to Smith Micro's newsletter or rwitter or whatever they use as they often make special price offers on the software :).

BTW- how do her "Sockets" fit?

Like have you smoothed her ends?
Do they just end in an uncapped thing?
Are there cyborg attachments?

Just curious on that note.

On the cyborg parts, all the attachments with the other cyborg parts are capped.
So, you can hide the forearms and the hands. The shoulder looks fine.
Same for the thigh (if you hide shin and foot) and some for the shin (if you hide the foot).
You can also use the arms with the human hands.
